After the long slog of reviewing South African general election, 2014, time for something simpler....

  • I can't remember if other Boat Race GAs do this, but I think the ("sometimes referred to as") in brackets is probably superfluous and does make the prose a little longer than necessary.
    It's the same in other GAs. I was asked to include something like this so I can then use those terms interchangeably with Cambridge and Oxford. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:14, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • "followed throughout the United Kingdom and broadcast worldwide" - are you sure about the "worldwide" bit for the 1962 race, back then that would have been a major effort unless the film was physically shipped to other countries

  • "sticky second stroke" - generally speaking, I feel its' best to put the inline citation directly after the quote, otherwise copyediting elsewhere can "detatch" the source from it over time
