Alternate ending[edit]

"The final alternate ending is again similar to the previous one, Evan and Kayleigh hesitantly stop on the street when they cross each other but do not meet each others gaze and continue on their original path." - is this not the actual (non-alternate) ending? I'm guessing you watched it on E4 this evening?

So did I and yes, that appears to be the ending of the version they just broadcast and I doubt that E4 would be broadcasting any previously unseen version, or indeed anything other than the original theatrical cut of the film. Syko Conor (talk) 00:08, 17 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is the ending described in the article correct? Coz I saw the movie and found the ending to be different. He tries to die in his mother's womb and then some scenes of a new life pass by and then Keyleigh gets married. Director's cut was the one shown in Denmark (DR2 20:00-21:55 2012-05-30) The different endings show how the story is constructed. The real scoop would be to find why the director prefers this ending. Director's cut corresponds to the current articles next-to-last part of the plot: //quote//Evan realizes that the main cause of everyone's suffering in all the different timelines is himself.//end-quote// The Theatrical ending seems more mature to me: The time dimension has given the protagonist more insight and he accepts other people's happiness, not as a ghost, but as a living person; therefore I wonder why the director prefers the other ending. --d-axel (talk) 20:14, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

List of ghost films?[edit]

The ending of the movie mentioned here is not the one that comes in the bluray disc of the movie...[edit]

The theatrical ending is the one described. However, there is also a "director's cut" ending, in which Evan travels back to his mother's labor and strangles himself in the womb with his own umbilicus. Plays out similarly to the version described in article - not only are Kayleigh and Tommy still far better off, having gone to live with their mother as children, but Lenny and Ms. Treborn are also happy, even without Evan in their lives. - Drlight11 (talk) 06:32, 17 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
