This article needs a radical re-write; both to reduce the promotional fancruft, and to insert some citations.

Much that I see here is lifted from http://lulusko.www7.50megs.com/TIMESSQUARE/tsrindex.htm KevinOB (talk) 17:49, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Large Rewrite[edit]

Just got started by cleaning up the Lead section. Soon, the article will be at least 90% smaller, and the above (long standing) complaints/issues will be addressed and resolved. Tapered (talk) 00:47, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Very nearly finished. Will contact editor responsible for 'boxes.' Tapered (talk) 06:01, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oops! Need to explain vast deletions. This was a one-hit wonder group that had a sort of resurgence when their de facto leader, Nick Santo wrote another great song. Before my edit, the article was chock full of undocumented minutiae, which had nothing to do with their notoriety, and everything to do with people who hadn't done anything important wanting their names and scribings in Wikipedia. That trash has been taken out. Tapered (talk) 07:15, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, I loved "There's a Moon Out Tonight," and jumped up and danced around when I heard "Morse Code of Love." I'm from the same part of the world and similar background to the Capris. Tapered (talk) 07:17, 15 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
