RNRHOF[edit]

In what sense are the Chantays included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? Their one hit Pipeline is listed in The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll, but so are many other songs that aren't rock music; That list is influences. The Chantays are not listed as inductees of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

This is of course relevant to the question of whether surf music has now become a subgenre of rock music. Andrewa 15:26, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I removed this sentence: "The Chantays have also been included in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio." as being misleading. The group are definitely not inductees which this sentence implies. The song - Pipeline - is their only connection which is noted in the sentence which followed the one I removed. If anyone feels this to be in error, please feel free to revert the edit supplying the reason for doing so.THX1136 (talk) 15:25, 24 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The other Bob Welsh[edit]

The link to Bob Welsh of Fleetwood Mac is incorrect. No disrespect intended for either of them. If you compare the album covers of Pipeline and any picture of Bob Welsh of Fleetwood you will see they don't bear any resemblence to one another.

Name?[edit]

Where did they take their name from? Maikel (talk) 10:21, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
