Is it really Spencer Van Moot who has the Ferrari? I seem to remember that Sam Niles, swims out to the island in the duck pond to bring back his partner, Harold Bloomguard and then breaks into the gardening shed to hose his partner free of the slimy green duck defecation. This act explained by Sam telling Harold that he doesn't want to get the duck excretement in his Ferrari, a statement rebuffed with Harold saying "I helped you with the downpayment."

Use of the term "burlesqued"[edit]

Re: "...Wambaugh, by then a successful author, resigned from the LAPD after fourteen years of service in order to publish The Choirboys without retribution from those he burlesqued..."

I'd query the use of the term "burlesqued." I'd like to change that to read "parodied" as I feel it is a better fit for the sentiment.
