What is NSW HSC syllabus (Powerplay) ? Rmhermen 16:44, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The main way that anyone born after 1980 or so gets to know about The Club. ;) - 220.237.30.150 23:57, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I say merge. Banno kun 20:40, 10 September 2006

Why would you merge this? The film and play are completely different, with the film being much more significant :? Rogerthat Talk 11:02, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Not completely different - they've got the same plot, although the film has some scenes outside The Club's halls. Just to look for consistency, one of David Williamson's other plays - Don's Party - is only covered in its film version, and the same merge discussion is now going on at the Emerald City (play) and Emerald City (film) pages. I'd say merge to The Club (play), with a subsection for film-specific information. - Malkinann 02:52, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I've gone ahead and done the merge. I think I managed to fit everything in ok. - Malkinann 09:27, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Rename to (1980 film)[edit]

The disamig page for The Club lists this article separately as The Club (play) and The Club (film), and also lists another film of the same title from 1994. Wonder if this article should be renamed as "The Club (play and 1980 film)" or "The Club (Australian play and film)" or similar to reflect that it covers both merged topics, and also to avoid confusion once someone creates an article for the 1994 film. Suggestions? Sroc 14:08, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Theatre Assessment[edit]

  • Start class - Needs formatting to conform with Wikipedia:WikiProject_Theatre/Article_Structure guidelines. Needs Productions, Reception, and Analysis headings per available information.
  • Low importance - a single play constitutes a "highly specific area of knowledge"
