Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because it was added to clear up a confusion between a current group The_Bishops and this one, as there was a section of text about The Count Bishops on the The Bishops article. If the changes are reverted it will become confusing again.

Furthermore the Count Bishops are notable in their own right, having been at the forefront of the Pub Rock scene in the UK. They also continue to receive airplay on BBC national radio, as per the BBC link I have added to the article. They also played live on what was the largest music TV show in the UK, Top of The Pops. The link with Dr. Feelgood and Motorhead is also notable. I've translated the Russian entry into English with some changes for readability as a good start to the page, and also worked back through all of the mentions of The Count Bishops in wikipedia to add links to this page where necessary.
