Muscle Shoals Sound

[edit]

This is a 1967 song, and the story of its writing speaks of Quinton Claunch being "another Muscle Shoals alumnus." In the trivia it also states, "The song is closely regarded as a classic recording of the 'Muscle Shoals Sound'." The Muscles Shoals Studio didn't come into existence until 1969, and the "sound" is related to certain songs by groups like the Rolling Stones, Bob Seeger, Lynyrd Skynyrd, etc. I'm not sure how this particular R&B song fits into the Muscles Shoals Studio sound. — Parsa talk 21:39, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Another good version of this song appears on the album Misty Blue by Dorothy Moore.

Weak references

[edit]

The main text of this article is cited with very weak citations. So weak in fact, that they do not reference anything at all, simply a person and a year, which does not validate the quite descriptive and unwikipidean way of describing the origins of the song.
