I'm going to spend today with this review, so you should have a definitive answer (I'm not truly a fan of holds) this afternoon.

Alright, I've concluded.
1) Perhaps some detail about the previous story lines of the film-- considering, especially, how it draws so heavily upon the first film, unlike the second of the franchise.
Coverage of this film seems complete, what you're asking might be better suited for Batman in film.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 00:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
2) A poster with a higher resolution would be great.
The film poster size is inline with WP:Image resolution.-TriiipleThreat (talk) 00:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That may be. ---Saw1998 (talk) 00:52, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
3) While I know I stated against it, I am going to put this article on hold. I apologize. However, as we saw on the premiere date of the film, and considering the upcoming DVD release date, I'll be frank: We should wait. Obviously, and financially. The income could rocket and cause some interesting fact changes which are better to wait for instead of taking head-on with a title to defend.
A good article can still be updated as new information becomes available.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 00:15, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Give it a week and I'll have no problem with a pass. ---Saw1998 (talk) 00:59, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Upon second review and Further appraisal, I will not pass this article. You may like a second opinion if you wish. The reason for that is mainly due to the inadequate plot coverage. I'm not demanding a novel, I'm demanding back information so it makes sense. It should be rewritten at the least. ---Saw1998 (talk) 00:59, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

What sort of additions would you like to see in the plot specifically? We've worked hard to whittle down unecessary details that were considered bloat, so it'd be good if you could give us an idea what it's missing. I think we're working on a combination of the fact that we don't want to repeat plot from BB or TDK, and that the plot is already over guideline length. drewmunn (talk) 07:24, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This film's plot coverage is complete, I will request a second opinion on the matter.--TriiipleThreat (talk) 11:39, 18 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Second opinion I am having trouble understanding what Saw would like added to the plot details. Would you like to see references to how it fits into the trilogy as a whole? What does concern me is that the AFI Award 2012 has no citation. Also, home video performance data could be added. The section "Some reports released on July 21, 2012 said that rival studios estimated that the film grossed $75 million to $77 million on its opening day.[193][194][195] Warner Brothers shortly after released a statement to ABC News stating that they delayed the release of their estimates for the opening day total of the film "out of respect for the victims and their families," and added "Warner Bros. Pictures will not be reporting box office numbers for The Dark Knight Rises throughout the weekend. Box office numbers will be released on Monday."[196]" seems old and in need of an update. Comment (or third opinion) I'm vaguely independent on this, having only made three minor edits on the page, so come without any baggage. Having re-watched the film again a day or so ago and gone over the plot section again, I see no issues with what is there. The section adequately covers the plot of the film and does not dip down into unneccessary detail; adding further detail will bloat the plot without really helping readers' understanding. Furthermore, at 709 words it also just about fits with the WP:FILMPLOT size requirements. If the reviewer's concerns are because of the back story provided by the previous film, then perhaps a section hatnote noting that the story arc if a contuniation of the previous film (appropriately wikilinked)? - SchroCat (talk) 13:42, 29 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Additional two cents: I've looked over the plot, after having recently seen the film, and it seems completely fine to me. I don't understand what needs to be added without going too far into detail. In my opinion, the fact that the movie "..is the sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008).." is enough to imply that this is going to have information that is used from the previous movies and is a continuation of the series. But that's just me. Disc Wheel (Malk + Montributions) 05:51, 31 December 2012 (UTC) Comment - I have not seen the movie, but I have enough of an idea of what is in the movie from reading the plot summary. It does not seem overly detailed either. What takes me two minutes to read is the plot of a 2 hr 45 minute long movie. That is not overly long in my eyes. Since there's consensus that the plot concern was invalid and there are no further issues, I'll pass the article. Wizardman 22:52, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
