PAGE STARTED

[edit]

OK, well I've started a page on Day of the Wolves (I was a bit surprised that one didn't already exist). Further hard refs, particularly in respect to Havasu, need to be added but so little has been written about this. I've only added what I consider neutral material.

The comment about Tarantino being influenced by Day of the Wolves is absolute conjecture on the part of reviewers, since as far as I'm aware, he's never commented on it. But since every other reviewer of DOTW seems to comment about this, I think it reasonable to at least mention it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbefilms (talkcontribs) 16:54, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

PHOTO ADDED OF FERDE GROFE JR.

[edit]

I've added a photo of Ferde holding a can of film. Indieshack (talk) 01:10, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Linking to online versions of the film

[edit]

Would suggest that we don't link to online versions of Day of the Wolves since the film is likely *not* in the public domain any more. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bbefilms (talkcontribs) 22:01, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Beards?

[edit]

How about a photo of the funny fake beards?

Last film made by several actors

[edit]

The film is generally thought to be the last film made by Martha Hyer, it was probably also the last movie made by a few other of the actors including Percy Helton. His last credited role on IMDB is "Legend of the Northwest" (1978) but, as other reviewers on IMDB have noted, that movie is likely to have been *much* earlier than 1978 - likely early to mid 1960's and shelved until later release (e.g. child actress Dana Dillaway appears to be no more than about 10 years old in the production, in 1978 she would have been 28 years old!).

Gold Key Comics?

[edit]

Was Gold Key Entertainment any relation or a part of Gold Key Comics?Foofbun (talk) 01:05, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I posed this question to Ferde Grofe, he is not aware of any connection to Gold Key comics (which doesn't mean there's no connection, just that he's not aware of one). Indieshack (talk) 05:22, 19 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
