Genre[edit]

I believe that this band falls under the genre `post punk`.

Notability and Sources[edit]

I believe this band does meet the notability criteria. I believe Criterion 1 has been met, by looking at the list of interviews and reviews. I could probably find more, if necessary.
I believe Criterion 4 has been met. The Death Set have apparently toured extensively through Australia, the USA, and the UK. They have toured other European countries once.
Criterion 5 has probably been met. The Death Set released albums on Morphius Records and on Ninja Tune, both of which are established and relatively well-known.
I am not sure what, if anything, this would qualify for, but they did play at SXSW 2008.

All of this combined should show notability. I tried to add sources to support this. However, I haven't yet worked on the tone of the article. As it is, the tone is pure promotion, which is unacceptable. I will work on this later, if nobody else does.

I have not removed any of the tags. I would not do that unless others agreed that it was the correct decision. BecauseWhy? (talk) 23:14, 21 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This desperately needs to be revamped. It is as if the band or their manager edited this page. This needs to be completely redone from scratch with only references and a neutral POV. Bro2baseball (talk) 16:49, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Additionally, it looks like the whole thing is pulled from this website [1]. Someone's gotta demolish this article and start from scratch. M.Nelson (talk) 06:20, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I tried to make it slightly neutral without taking away sources they put or destroying the band as an article. --Maxownsworld (talk) 18:20, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
