Correct Usage of Talk Pages

[edit]

Please note, the talk pages are not a place for comments about the show, but for discussion of edits to the article. Trixovator 12:53, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you know the name of the creator of The Emperor's New School?

Yes, it's Bobs Gannaway. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.78.188.222 (talk) 22:58, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The show does not credit Gannaway as the creator, and I could not find any sources to support this information. He is credited as the executive producer for the show. I'd recommend doing research to find a source to support your claim. Aoba47 (talk) 23:43, 2 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bobs Gannaway he is the creator of The Emperor's New School. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.78.188.222 (talk) 03:12, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

As I have already stated above, you will need to provide a citation to back up this claim. Gannaway is not listed as the show's creator in the show's credits, and I could not find a citation to support this. You can keep repeating it this all you want, but the only way that this information will be incorporated into the article is if you find a source for it. Gannaway is the show's executive producer, and this is listed in the article. It is likely that you are just confusing the two. Aoba47 (talk) 04:05, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then what is the name of the creator of The Emperor's New School? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.78.188.222 (talk) 04:10, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

After looking through the article's history, I believe Mark Dindal is the show's creator. I have added this information to the infobox and lead, although this was already present in the article itself. This information is sourced through this book. This information was present in the version of the article that passed the FAC, and for some reason, it was removed, but now it has been restored. Aoba47 (talk) 04:33, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yzma

[edit]
Have you ever noticed that Principle Amzy is Yzma spelled backwards?
Yes; that is noted in the first episode 24.208.96.72 21:23, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
How does Yzma become emperor if Kuzco fails?
She is supposedly the heir to the throne by being advisor. So I guess it was in Kuzco's family's will for Yzma to take the throneJulz
At least the show isn't as corny as it used to be.
Actually in many ancient civilisations it was traditional that the adviser would succeed the royal family if there was no heir (although given that Yzma is no longer his adviser...). Also on the backwards name note; whenever Kronk stands in for Amzy he goes by the name Knork

Cleanup

[edit]

Copyeditting is needed in some parts of the main areas, heavilly needed in the trivia section.

True.a big fan must have typed this.--Cute 1 4 u 00:42, 19 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This is doing GREAT!

[edit]

It's very different the from when I edited this at the shows start! Keep up the good work! Julz

Numbering?

[edit]

Does anyone know how to find out any concrete information on numbering so far? I'm seeing all sorts of differing information (both here and on various other sites) as to what was produced in which run, if and when the second season began, etc. Even on the front page here, the info box contradicts the episode list in the body. It all seems a bit arbitrary. Is there a way to actually get in touch with the production group?

Deleted pages

[edit]

Jenny_Wong put delete requests on the individual episode pages I've been working on, and now the Mystery of Micchu Pachu is gone, with more probably to follow. She's not answering on her talk page, can anyone explain to me the reason for this in the first place? She gave the reason as "Not notable: cartoon episode", but I can find no mention of such policy in wiki's documentation.

This makes me so angry. I've put a lot of time into the ones I've done so far, I was planning to do the rest to the same standard but I shan't bother if someone's just going to come along and wash it all away.

I'm nnot a user here but I use wiki frequently and I too, am very upset that your episode pages are being deleted. I don't have the opportunity too see every episode and so your summaries and pictures were a great opportunity for me to catch up and I'm sure there are many that feels the same way. So can somebody give a reason why these articles have to be deleted? /Shoujo

Thanks, that's nice of you to say. Luckily none of the others had gone, but I've taken backups of them just in case. I think I've got 15 episodes now from the UK Disney Channel, and there's the other six listed on the fron page due to air in a week or two. If the rest of the pages are still okay by then, I reckon that's when I'll get back to work.

Nadjiggle 20:48, 29 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad to hear that. I live in Sweden and the only channel showing ENS here is Disney Channel which I don't have. So, as I said before summaries like yours are very appriciated :) /shoujo

'Officer Kronk'

[edit]
Another thing to note for the before/after secion: In the 'Officer Kronk' episode, when Kuzco has made up new rules to have Kronk read to the class, Melina says they sound like they were written by 'someone who's missing his emperor powers'. I think this would be another piece of evidence for it being set after though movie. - Adrianna (who hasn't registered)

Theme Song

[edit]

Does the theme song sound roughly similar in parts to the song "YMCA" from the Village People?

WAVY 10 14:11, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's probably supposed to, is my guess. Seeing as they spell his name repeatedly in the song... --I'm Kinda Awesome... 21:16, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Miley Cyrus in character vioce list?

[edit]

Why is Miley Cyrus (and her sister, I think) in the charater voice list? Are they in an upcoming episode, because so far, I haven't seen a waitress in the show. Can I get some proof? Abcw12 10:51, 10 July 2007 (UTC) Never mind, it was a future episode i haven't seen yet. I recognized her voice as a waitress. Abcw12 03:49, 19 August 2007 (UTC) What happened to the text? Is this show still being made?

[edit]

this article is unclear about if there is going to be a third season. it says the original run goes to this year and doesn't say anywhere if it was canceled or what? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.79.40.214 (talk) 07:10, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I suppose the series has been cancelled. Kuzco has finally graduated at the last episode. What more could you and I want? Because the series is all about how Kuzco must have education to have his position as emperor. Now, another reason, this series may be "dead" is that Eartha Kitt has pass away and to me, she is irreplacable. User talk:Julianster 03:59, 29 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Susan Silo could do it.74.76.254.95 (talk) 02:47, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

crocodile

[edit]

Should the lab's croc be listed as a minor character? He's referred to as both 'Lord Snappington' (in the epsiode where Kuzco and Guaca steal Yzma's potions,) and 'Chester' (in the final episode) by Kronk, although he could be correct on both occasions (Lord Chester Snappington).
