error in dates[edit]
could someone more knowledgeable than me look over the dates in the article? I see one apparent mistake:
"Manet was refused permission to reproduce the lithograph in 1869, but an edition of 50 impressions was produced in 1844, after his death"
perhaps 1844 should be 1944?
and in the earlier line
"The painting is signed by Manet in the lower left corner but bears the date of Maximilian's execution in 1867 despite being painted in 1868-9."
gives the impression the work was started before it's subject occurred - is that correct? 129.215.102.241 (talk) 12:00, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
