Improvements

[edit]

Someone has just bunged a load of text in, without attribution. Page also needs infobox. Have put a TODO on my Userpage & I'll get to it when I can... --Rodhullandemu 20:40, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing sentence

[edit]

The following sentence from the "History" section is not clear. "In late 1976, Fred Glickstein & Ron Karpman recruited bassist/cellist Thom Blecka from Chicago (formerly of T.S Henry Webb Group featuring Frank Posa) - Corky Siegel w/Sam Lay, Albert King, Joe Jammer Johnny Ross & The Babysitters & others) and formed a power trio that chose the title of: "FLOCK 3"."

There is an unresolved parenthesis which hinders communication of the facts. As I do not have information on this subject I would ask for someone who does to attend to this if possible. Thoughts?THX1136 (talk) 16:37, 19 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Continuity?

[edit]

If not for eventual mention of a belatedly released live album recorded in 1973, you would get the impression from this article that the Flock disbanded in 1970 and didn't reform until 1975. I saw the group perform in 1973, and I feared at first I was about to be subjected to yet another instance of Wikipedia attempting to obliterate my persnal history. I nearly was. One of the problems appears to have to do with the severely warped perspective of the editors, who seem to think that a group that isn't releasing records is a group that doesn't exist. Anyway, the confusion in this article about when the Flock was active is a serious flaw that demands attention. I can't fix it myself because I don't have the requisite information at my command; I have only my memories: 1) a spread in the St. Louis Post Dispatch from when Jerry Goodman was still in the group, 2) an article in Downbeat specifying that Goodman, now a member of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, had previously played with the Flock, and 3) watching the Flock perform on stage in 1973 with a different violinist.
