James Varnum (236) links-thru to someone of the same name from an earlier century. Valetude (talk) 22:34, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've put in the correct link, to James M. Varnum (born 1848).--Pharos (talk) 03:22, 23 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Better disambiguation

[edit]

Since the term and concept existed both before and after 1892 (which was only the year of publication of a particular newspaper article), I would suggest that a different means of disambiguation is called for.

One of the folowing might work:

  • The Four Hundred (New York society)
  • The Four Hundred (New York City)
  • The Four Hundred (socialites)
  • The Four Hundred (high society)
  • The Four Hundred (Gilded Age)
  • The Four Hundred (Astor Ballroom)

[edit]

Isaac Iselin (116) links to someone of the same name who died a century before this.

My guess is that he is a cousin of Columbus Iselin (114) [1] or his uncle [2] Tatasz (talk) 02:39, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
