Notability
[edit]Who tagged this article as being of questionable notability? The GTOs were an important band in rock history. I'm going to remove the tag, if nobody objects. 220.233.178.130 (talk) 13:06, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- I agree. In fact, someone should expand the article and provide biogaphical info on the individual ladies, such as birthdates, etc.jeanne (talk) 13:19, 7 April 2008 (UTC)
Band Members
[edit]Not exactly sure where I read it , but wasn't Gail Zappa a member of the GTO's? ( Or was she behind the scenes? Costume design? Make-up? ). Just curious if anybody else can elaborate. Harvey J Satan (talk) 18:29, 14 February 2011 (UTC)
- No, Gail Sloatman Zappa was never a member of any musical group. She was friends with a few of the GTO's and several stayed at the ranch in Laurel Canyon and later the Zappa home from time to time. This became one of the differences between Pamela Zarubica ("Suzy Creamcheese") and Frank Zappa leading to the end of their association, as Pamela thought the GTO's were more or less pathetic people. BTOs
[edit]Is "multi-sexual" a legitimate term? Would "bisexual" be sufficient, or are we talking trans-species perhaps? PurpleChez (talk) 20:01, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
Jeff Beck PLAYS on the album, he wasn't a songwriter ......
[edit]Jeff Beck & Rod Stewart (then a member of the Jeff Beck Group) play on this - but Jeff isn't a "songwriter" on it. I'll wait to see if this is corrected by another editor before I drag out sources. HammerFilmFan (talk) 07:00, 8 February 2012 (UTC)

Created Miss Mercy bio page
[edit]Like Miss Pamela, who now has her own bio page, Miss Mercy had an extremely lengthy bio paragraph on the GTOs page, so i have ported the information over to a new Miss Mercy bio page. I have not written much content for the new page, but have added one new ref (there were two in place already), and i left an intro paragraph and a link on the GTOs page, as was done with the Miss Pamela material. There are many cross-links between Miss Mercy's page and the pages of other musicians. Additionally her son, Lucky Otis, is notable enough as a musician in his own right that i am collecting refs now for his bio page and i will be starting his page within the week and that also will cross-link back to this page. 75.101.104.17 (talk) 15:16, 26 May 2018 (UTC)
