Headline needs "(attraction)" in its title

To be consistent with the Pirate of the Caribbean (attraction) page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean_%28attraction%29

This Haunted Mansion page should have the header, "Haunted Mansion (attraction)". — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikemckiernan (talkcontribs) 19:56, 9 July 2012 (UTC)

"Living" characters

The article mentions that the caretaker and his dog found at the beginning of the Graveyard scene are the Haunted Mansion's only "living" charcters. I had this in mind during a recent visit to WDW, and thus took notice that there are several ravens visible in the course of the ride (as you leave the attic for the graveyard, in the seance room, and perhaps others). There may be some owls or other birds visible in the graveyard. I know it's a minor point, but the article makes mention of the "only living characters" very shortly after mentioning the raven outside the attic. PurpleChez (talk) 19:38, 5 July 2013 (UTC)

"The Attraction"

What happened to the "walkthrough" of the attraction and its comparisons to the other versions? The only bit that resembles it is the "Narration" which is almost irrelevant since it only covers the first two rooms, misleading readers to beleive that it covers the entire attraction. --Tailikku (talk) 19:08, 25 April 2015 (UTC)

Two History Sections

This article currently has two separate history sections with the same title and purpose at different points in the article. I'll see about fixing it, but just pointing it out in the meantime. Elzbenz (talk) 04:53, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

(I fixed this a while ago now, but history might still need work) Elzbenz (talk) 03:27, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Removal of duplicate ride description

Hey, my bold edit got reverted by DreVog (talk · contribs), so I came here to discuss. I actually received a thank from GoneIn60 (talk · contribs) for it before the revert, so I must not be alone in thinking that the duplicate section may be redundant. I think, if the article needed to describe what is different between versions, it should just describe the differences. Not to include an entire section twice, and make the reader spot the differences between them. But then again though, maybe I didn't provide adequate replacement for its removal. Thank you, please let me know your reasoning for the revert. Elzbenz (talk) 02:36, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Also, the description of the ride is currently too detailed in my opinion, I will see about improving it. Elzbenz (talk) 03:31, 27 January 2016 (UTC)
(edit conflict):I agree. The article needs a lot of work, and definitely one of the issues has been the overly-long ride descriptions. While there's certainly more work to do in this regard, your edit was an improvement. There's no reason to repeat the description for each location. If anything, only the differences should be mentioned. DreVog can discuss here if needed before attempting to revert again. --GoneIn60 (talk) 03:42, 27 January 2016 (UTC)

Dates are hard

"Employee previews of the Mansion were held August 9, 10, and possibly the 11th, followed by "soft" openings on August 9 and 10" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.140.183.205 (talk) 20:37, 3 July 2017 (UTC)

"The" Article

I'm not the most knowledgeable about the standards, but is there any reason the attraction isn't listed here as "The Haunted Mansion", Disney's established, official name of the attraction in all other sources, and the full title on the official sign of the ride? Since the article is part of the brand name and not just a conversational addition, it deserves to be added. If not, at the very least, the description following ought to be changed, because, even if the article doesn't belong in the title, "Haunted Mansion" alone should not be treated as the brand name, and no one says it without "the" prefacing it. A park-goer would say they want to go to "the Haunted Mansion" or "The Haunted Mansion", not "Haunted Mansion". The only place it works without "the" is when in a possessive: "Disney's Haunted Mansion attraction."

Attraction - Disneyland

"A pair of sliding doors open to one of two similar octagonal rooms, which are actually large slow-moving elevators with fake woofing walls that do not reach the ceiling."

What are "fake woofing walls"? I don't know what a woofing wall is, much less how it would be faked. I'm trying to picture how this giant elevator works with "fake woofing walls" that don't reach the ceiling, and I really can't figure it out. I think this needs to be explained, if it's included at all. 2602:304:AF09:6FE9:B18C:33C7:7E1D:647A (talk) 16:46, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
