Untitled[edit]

I was born on Hayling Island and went to this school between 1976 and 1981. Throughout this time, and right up until the name was changed to "...College" (which would have been around 2004 or thereabouts) it was called simply "The Hayling School" - I do not ever recall it being known as "Hayling Island Secondary School" - it would have been "....Secondary Modern" when it first opened in the early 60s, but I don't actually believe the name "Hayling Island Secondary School" was ever used. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.225.149.5 (talk) 10:40, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
