Current?

[edit]

Anyone know if this is still being published? Warofdreams talk 02:21, 23 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Title

[edit]

Should the title include the article "The" at the beginning, in keeping with both the photo and the italicized title in the intro? I opted not to change it myself, as I don't know whether both forms were used at some point, and the links to the page generally use the current form. Archbishop of Canterbury?

[edit]
However, Herbert Ingram was determined to make his newspaper a success, and sent every clergyman in the country a copy of the edition which contained illustrations of the installation of the Archbishop of Canterbury, and by this means secured a great many new subscribers.

Does anyone know the source for this anecdote? The information seems very specific, as if it came from somewhere, but I can't find a mention in any of the references cited. I will remove if it can't be verified. Mastervelociraptor (talk) 15:13, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The first link listed below this article, which just says "Illustrated London News", is to a site belonging to a modern company which has the same name as the old periodical but no connection with it whatsoever. 81.152.163.175 (talk) 14:26, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
