Release dates

[edit]

Well, I have noticed that an anonymous user put in the German release date for The Incident in the infobox. That does not abide by the WP:ALBUMS rules, and it is unsourced. However, I do not want to eliminate his input just yet. Maybe there should be a table that lists the release dates of the album in the article. Also, his input is unsourced, notable. Thank you. It was released on Septemper 14, not 15 as the article says. PorcupineTreeFa 21:31 14 September 2009 (CET)

I can vouch for that. I bought it today in my local HMV. I'm pretty sure today's the 14th, and I'm in Britain. That should probably be edited. Also there's another version of the cover art, but I don't have it so can't upload it. MrMansh (talk) 22:19, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"9/14/2009 The Incident is out. It’s been a long time coming but the new album is finally out there." Quote from the official website www.porcupinetree.com. It was released the 14. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.134.135.41 (talk) 02:28, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The earliest release date was the German one for September 11, so I took out the remaining stuff according to WP:ALBUMS. Also, I did update the other release date elsewhere in the article. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 03:22, 15 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Make up your minds

[edit]

How long is Flicker? Is it 3:42 or 20:38? Make up your minds; this editing debate is juvenile and pathetic. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 01:30, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I know I'm late, seeing as this is already protected (thankfully), but can someone edit the album length back to 75:43 (Something like that)? Since flicker really isn't more than 3 minutes, having the album length at 90+ minutes makes no sense. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.188.97.157 (talk) 22:09, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I can be able to do that. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 22:13, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

For those thinking that Flicker is 20 minutes long, it's because whoever leaked it, decided to put all four of the Disc 2 songs into a single song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.114.64.254 (talk) 22:02, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can believe that. It is sad what unpermissed links can do. How deplorable. BacktableSpeak to Meabout what I have done 02:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Flicker is 3:42. I'm sitting here with the album in my hands, and it says Flicker - 3:42 on the back. I've also put it on my computer, and the track is 3:42. The second disc as a whole is 20:38. MrMansh (talk) 22:21, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sitting with a Limited Edition version and it's 3:42. 174.102.144.83 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 02:20, 15 September 2009 (UTC).[reply]

UK charts reference

[edit]

Under UK album charts, reference is made to metalunderground which I believe is not correct. The correct link to UK album charts is UK album charts. Consequently the best position of the album in the UK album charts is #23 and not #12. Furthermore position #12 refers to the mid-week charts, which are copyright protected. See FAQ Q2. I suggest to change the peak position to 23 and refer to UK Chart Stats instead. Any objections ? --Cdl obelix (talk) 09:48, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
