Plot Section[edit]

The plot summary may be too long.SUPERBEES Talk 05:20, 5 October 2007

Unfortunately, it is now far too short. Plus the word "fantastic" is used, meaning this was written by someone with an obvious bias. While I am not one to rewrite the summary, someone should get to it some time soon because the book ficken roxs everyones sox off!!!

Well, now it's non-existent, let's split the difference here, find a healthy medium between too much and nothing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.68.160.24 (talk) 19:16, 24 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think the plot section is in the wrong place. Hill Crest's WikiLaser (Boom). (talk) 19:31, 13 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Movie Update[edit]

I updated the section concerning the movie adaptation. Any other details found on the net would make a great addition. Snookumz (talk) 23:08, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Characters[edit]

I recently read this book, and I feel like Hugo and Isabelle are most definitely not the only main/important characters. I think Georges Méliès should be mentioned, and possibly his wife, too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.204.155.33 (talk) 00:30, 23 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Differences from film[edit]

I removed the following line from the character description of Etienne, as it was out of place: "Etienne does not appear in the film "Hugo." We don't need to mention the connection to the film in the description of characters since the article is focused on the novel. Any discussion of the film should appear in the Adaptations section. Perhaps there will someday be a "Differences from the film" section, but perhaps not since those sections are often riddled with original research. Please use removed quote above as you see fit. --Roseclearfield (talk) 03:13, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
