Errors identified by Whitfield[edit]

From Whitfield p. 88:

It states that sometimes the author makes errors in the usage of English.

p. 89:

According to Whitfield, the author mistakenly used the word "anti-hero" to always mean a villain, and did not keep clear the definitions of parody and satire, mixing up the words. He also stated that the author used "semitism" when the word is not an actual word. (Whitfield states this in comparison to anti-semitism)

He stated there were language errors with Hebrew and Yiddish.

According to Whitfield the book misattributes the origin of Fiddler on the Roof to a single story. WhisperToMe (talk) 06:49, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
