Flight to Forever[edit]

I would like to add details of a classic sci-fi story that very closely resembles the journey made by the professor, Bender and Fry. I was reminded of it while watching the show and have since identified it as Flight to Forever by Poul Anderson. The infosphere appear to have independently included it in their Trivia section for the episode. Where should it be added? Davey101 (talk) 17:03, 9 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This information should not be added to the article unless it can be verified in a reliable source. The Infosphere, while a great collection of Futurama information, is not a reliable source, see WP:RS. Were you to find a secondary source which confirmed a connection between the story and this episode then the information would be best placed in the "Cultural references" section. Alas, I had already searched in vain for references before asking the question. Anyone who has read the story and seen the episode (and there appear to be very few of us) will tell you that the various similarities are too striking to be just co-incidence. Thanks anyway. Yeah, but unless a reliable source comments on it, it doesn't meet notability, even if the comparison has been proven reliable (i.e. accurate). These kinds of things have to pass two layers of criteria: First, it has to be verifiable and then it has to be notable. Usually having it verified by a reliable source solves both criteria. Maybe one will pop up eventually? plus, DVD commentary is a great resource when it comes out.Luminum (talk) 16:44, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cyclical[edit]

Season 6/7?[edit]

This is wrong, the correct season of The Late Philip J. Fry is season 6. This can be seen at Futurama_(season_6), with Futurama_(season_7) as comparison. The correct location of the episode is thus episode 7 of season 6, and this article should be edited accordingly. SlowImprovement (talk) 05:12, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

'Rick Potion No. 9' in See also section?[edit]

The Red Dwarf episode Ouroboros is mentioned in the See also section of Roswell That Ends Well due to a similar twist ending. The Rick and Morty episode Rick Potion No. 9 has a similar ending to that of The Late Philip J.
