I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Onassis quote[edit]

The first note, which is included along with text in the article about the financial success of the book says:

As news of the movie sale went public, Susann encountered Aristotle Onassis at a New York restaurant. Onassis--apparently impressed by her earning potential--told Susann, "I think I'm married to the wrong Jackie." (Seaman, Lovely Me, pp. 392-93.)

That this comment was ever made seems highly unlikely. Onassis was an incredibly wealthy man who didn't need money from his spouse. It does seem like a very self-serving bit of name-dropping for Susann. I have not read the biography where this factoid appears, so I don't know how valid the source was. Unless it was verified by Onassis himself it seems more likely to have been a bit of self-promotion by the author. Since Wikipedia is supposed to be dealing in facts, I think it is questionable to be presenting this statement allegedly made by Onassis as fact. I don't think it's needed to support the underlying fact that Susann's book was a financial success. If we do include it, I would recommend that the text be modified so that it reads:

allegedly told Susann

Or

Plot Summary section[edit]

This is not a plot summary. It is a promotional description of the characters using ironic, overwritten phrasings. It sounds like it was lifted from the back cover of an edition of the book, or something similar to that. A real plot summary is needed for the novel.
