"The Minarets" or "Minarets"?
[edit]@Grutness:, @Fixer88: Just wondering if this page should be Minarets (New Zealand) or The Minarets (New Zealand)? I see there's already been movement! Maps and the LINZ New Zealand Gazetteer give the name as Minarets without the definite article. I note that there is another hill in New Zealand called The Minaret, west of Tākaka. So I guess I'm thinking this page should be Minarets. Thoughts? Paora (talk) 23:51, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
- I moved it to "The Minarets" because that's how I assumed they're usually referred to (they are named as such in the lede of the article). There is precedent - The Remarkables have the definite article in their title. If it's more common to just refer to them as "Minarets" rather than "The Minarets", however, feel free to move them back. Grutness...wha? 00:53, 28 November 2021 (UTC)
