Fair use rationale for Image:Mothconfesses.jpg

I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Opera synopsis
[edit]A man reminisces about his first love, which ended in a painful breakup ("Brilliant Colors") and contemplates what he should do next ("Cowboy"), ending up in Los Angeles. He works on getting on with his life, working in the entertainment industry in various capacities, including as a writer ("The New Life Out There"). He goes through several more relationships ("Morning, Girl"), ("Midsummer"), ("Little Sparrow"), and finally encountering a lost unrequited love ("The Last Time I Saw Jacqueline") appearing morose, and decides not to end up like her. Some time later, he is married, and makes contact with his second love for old time's sake ("Morning Girl, Revisted"), telling her than she will ultimately forget about him, even though she has yet to find someone for herself. The opera concludes with a recapitulation of the interlude from "Brilliant Colors" including vocalizations by a chorus.
Andy Zax told me that he found my attempt to see a narrative in the "opera" admirable, but that Saussy would not have approved of my attempt to give it one. It is true enough that there is a recapitualition of the "Brilliant Colors" interlude at the end of "Morning Girl, Revisited" and that the songs have a musical interrelationship. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 17:57, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
