Meaning of title?[edit]

I thought that it referred to the barren outcropping of rock where the final shootout occurred, but I've read elsewhere that it refers to the spur that Howard throws at Ben. Can anybody shed some light on this? Clarityfiend 22:48, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Could it be at the.end where the ridge or spur of land has no trees, therefore naked...? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.197.122.230 (talk) 06:01, 26 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Teaming Mann and Stewart?[edit]

The article currently credits this film with being the beginning of a fruitful working relationship between Mann and Stewart, despite the fact that Mann and Stewart made Winchester '73 only three years earlier. That text should probably be removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.38.46.52 (talk) 06:40, 16 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
