Accuracy of quotation?[edit]

I recently read this story (in English), and the final sentence quoted in the article, "They had wasted their lives", does not appear in the version I read. Is it accurate? 75.37.49.145 (talk) 04:54, 8 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
