Characters Table[edit]

What do people think of the table for characters, i just thought it was probably the easiest way of presenting the main details, name, actor, tribe, seasons.

The links on the character names are done in the same way as for The Simpsons and i am going to overhaul this page as much in line with Wikipedia fiction guidelines as possible. Once i have set up a page for Characters the links in the table should go to the appropriate part of the page.

I have included a Seasons column as well and while this may look strange for the first season it should become more useful later. I am considering doing another table on this model for The Tribe page where the season information would clearly be useful.

Do people think that the table is best done alphabetically as at the moment or by Tribe. I considered by Tribe as on the official website but decided to go with the way the information had already beekhvuigtybujtghn presented. I'd consider the format of a tabl to be sy=uitable only if the follow on pages for each individual cast memer were created and relevent information written on each page. Otherwise I wouldn't think it was worthwhile going to the extra effort of tabulating the cast.

Provided the individual pages are created, then I don't see much problem with the table, though prhaps a summary of each character would be nice on the main page for sumarry perpouses. I don't see the table method being suitable for this however.

As for The Tribe article, the same applies. Provided the articles for the individual characters are created and expanded sufficently (and for all characetrs) then why not have them? But again, might a summary be useful in the amina rticle?

On the subject of order, I think a aphaebtical ordering is best as this fits in with the idea I've read somewhereon Wikipedia, is NPOV and doesn't need to be altered for people who change tribes (for example, Gwyn has laready moved from Discards to Priveligded). The system used on the TNT website does't need to be used as this is jus an intial POV ordering based on the creators opinons at the start of the series. Later on it will most likely be invalid as a good 'orderin' system.Evil Eye 01:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

So really what I'm saying is , unless all the additional pages can be created with suffiecent detail, I would suggest shifting back to the previous format of the page.
