Spoilers

[edit]

I have added "spoiler zone" because it reveals much of the plot.

You didn't need to, however. It is not WP policy, both because WP is an encyclopedia and because the PLOT header or similar headers are enough for people to grasp that spoilers are present. Wurdnurd (talk) 23:49, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

In the last paragrpah in the article, the link to "List of SS Personnel" goes to a list that does not seem to include Roschmann. At least I didn't see it....In fact, the link has a chart of various names grouped by rank, which is poorly laid out and inefficient to wade through if you are looking for a particular person only by name....In any event, it has no particular relevance to the Wiki article on Roschman....Engr105th 13:37, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move

[edit]

Requested move: The ODESSA File to The Odessa File.
I propose to revert a move that was made without discussion and based on incorrect assumption.
The alleged ODESSA organization is most often called ODESSA with capitalization due to its being an acronym. Some editors assume that both film and book also use that same capitalization. However, they do not. The original Hutchinson & Co book release from 1972 clearly makes a distinction between the title and the organization, and Forsyth himself makes that distinction in the author's note and foreword, referring to the organization as ODESSA initially (Odessa later) and to the book as The Odessa File consistently.
User Barbatus moved the article The Odessa File to The ODESSA File without previous discussion, explaining the move was made because of the acronym. I contacted Barbatus about this, but get the impression he may be less active than before, so I chose to use the talk page instead. Opinions? Wurdnurd (talk) 23:58, 28 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
