It was, in fact, they who had originally started the current war, poisoning the atmosphere in an attempt to kill of those who would not submit to their beliefs on reproduction.
I'm pretty sure that's incorrect. I think it was revealed that the Breeders launched a preemptive attack, which failed to destroy the Eurondans or to prevent them from releasing their poisons.
From what I could gather from the episode, the Eurondans were actively planning to release the toxin, and might have already done so, when the Breeders attacked. The Breeders might have technically fired first, but it was still the Eurondans that started the entire mess. JBK405 01:32, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
Nazis?[edit]
The 'Production Notes' seems nonsensical. Unless there was something like DVD commentary saying 'We modeled these guys after Nazis', I think it should be removed. Lots42 02:45, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Though I didn't add that, and would like some kind of source, it doesn't seem nonsensical. Maybe a bit too specific, since there are many organizations that have embarked on genocidal campaigns in the past, but their white-supremacist beliefs, genetic purity actions, and xenocidal campaign all seem Nazi-ish to me.
