Dr. Ariston Bautista Y Limpingco

[edit]

Dr. Ariston Baulo Y Limpingco is one of the three men in Parisian Life together with Juan Luna and Jose Rizal. He was one of the heroes who was'n't much very knowned. At the year 2013 we celebrate his 150th anniversary. He was part of the 'Kilusang Propoganda' and the La Soliridad Newspaper. He was married to Petrona Nakpil, the brother of Julio Nakpil and after she died she married Gregoria De Jesus. He lives in the Nakpil-Bautista House, now a museum. He wad the president of Germinal Cigar and Cigarette Company. At 1896 he was arrested and put into jail in Fort Santiago anf at the age of 65 he died at March 3 1928 but it is unknowned why. He is a very selfless person and he is the hero who doesnt want to be knowned — Preceding unsigned comment added by HistorianAnatomy (talkcontribs) 13:38, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Alternate titles and other inaccuracies in lede

[edit]

I have to say I'm very sceptical regarding the pseudo-French alternate titles given for this piece. The spelling and capitalisation seem very fanciful and the sole reference given is a student publication. The claim that Luna was a familiar of the French royal court (among other completely unreferenced quotes) is also self-evidently ridiculous considering the period: the Third Republic had been in place for two decades by then. --MasqueDesRonces (talk) 12:43, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

After taking another look at the article, I've noticed that the first alternate title and the aforementioned quotes are from the lot description on the Christie's website. Still, the very basic mistake re: French history doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence toward that source. --MasqueDesRonces (talk) 12:53, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
