Secondary Reference[edit]

The Professionals is prominently mentioned in Glendon Swarthout's 1970 novel Bless the Beasts and Children, serving as a point of coalescence around which the protagonists generate their scheme to take action aimed at stopping the commercial slaughter (under the guise of "hunting") of corralled buffalo.

Given that this is a contemporary reference to The Professionals and something of its influence in legitimatizing the young generation's defiance of unjust and therefore illegitimate authority, I suggest that it may be appropriate to add mention of this relationship both to the Wikipedia page of The Professionals and to that of Swarthout's novel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.73.202.62 (talk) 09:08, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Apache Scout[edit]
