I'll try to take a photo of the building the next time I'm nearby, but if any other editors would like to contribute one, it'd save a job. :) DWaterson 11:27, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Do you have any evidence for it going into administration due to the withholding of £2 from Sandwell? As far as I was aware, after almost doubling costs and being unable to agree on a unified vision for the project, a collection of their funders which included Sandwell Council, ACE and ERDF refused to give them any extra money - rather than the council holding back agreed funds. Is there a reference for Sandwell Council holding back £2m? Lofichic 11:13 2 August 2007 (UTC)

The architecture column in the 26th December Private Eye awards it the prize for worst building of the year. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 61.213.81.32 (talk) 06:52, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Open or closed?[edit]

I stumbled across this article, and am entirely unclear as to whether the place is currently open or closed. Several times it's mentioned it closed in 2013, but elsewhere several mentions of it in the present tense. I have no knowledge (and tbh little interest) in this but as it stands the article is a mess.Newburyjohn (talk) 15:13, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I suspect it contains lots of historical COI cheerleading for this disastrous project. Now that the building is closed and faces the prospect of demolition nobody can be bothered to maintain the article. --Ef80 (talk) 10:41, 21 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
