Talk[edit]

Dr Aaij, ok i have added additional text on both Emily w. Reed and senator Eddison, also added in the interview New York times had with the author Garth Willams. Do you think it is ready for mainspace, if not what other improvements can I make to the article? Sir.Leyenda (talk) 05:08, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

DYK[edit]

DYK... that a children's book about two bunnies was the center of controversy in the 1950's in Alabama State? or DYK... that a book about bunnies was themed unsafe content for children ages 3-7 due to the claims of interracial marriage being a hidden message within the book?

Dr Aaij Hey professor, are these good questions for the "Did you know" section? Sir.Leyenda (talk) 16:54, 26 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • "DYK that a children's book about two bunnies getting married sparked a controversy about interracial marriage in Alabama in 1959?" That's your first one, but now with the actual topic, (interracial) marriage, in it. Dr Aaij (talk) 01:14, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
    • "DYK that in 1959 an Alabama State Senator said a children's book about two fuzzy rabbits was "propaganda for integration and intermarriage", and tried to get the book banned?" Shorter. Dr Aaij (talk) 01:19, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
