apparently, there were 6 Raipuman films, though the information on the IMDB now shows only 4, but used to list all. the band "Rapeman" was a Steve Albini project, following the disbanding of "Big Black", and Albini's success as a producer. Judexdot1 01:41, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Veracity of article[edit]

After examining some the references cited in this article and I've found they reiterate the factual errors with in this article. It's reasonable to assume that they're sourced from prior iterations of this article and as such are circular references. I notice that the article appears to have been originated by a non-native English user, this may be the source of these errors. It should be noted that the Japanese wiki article does not include the errors I've recorded in the English wiki. Fourisplenty (talk) 11:21, 5 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

One of the errors is particularly egregious. It says some band named "rapeman" later regretted naming their band that. This is what the actual cited article says: >Are you pleased in retrospect that you took both those names? Any regrets? >It's a matter of indifference to me. We picked the names for us, it made not a shit difference to us what anybody else thought of them. Wikipedia is such a joke.
