Buffy Similarities

[edit]

This episode is nearly identical to Normal_Again_(Buffy_episode). Comments anyone?

(Agreed!)

I noticed that from the preview! The only difference I see is that in "Normal Again" the viewer is left to question which reality is the truth, and which is the delusion; in "The Real World" it basically resolves that Atlantis is reality.
There are also other shows which have had identical episodes, I haven't seen them all, but I read their summaries, and they're pretty much the same. They've been posted.

Silent Hill similarities

[edit]

Or was it my imagination? Like the music (particularily in the first scene), disturbing imagery (like when she's talking to O'Neill) and the general hopeless asylum feeling.

Why Sheppard was not infected

[edit]

Why Sheppard was not infected: They imply that the nanites failed to attack him because they were focusing on Weir. But IIRC, last episode we learned that they cannot attack the Ancients, and Sheppard is an ancient as far as genetic is concerned, because the ATA gene is what is always used to distinguish genetically between ancients and non-Ancients. Fair use rationale for Image:Stargate Atlantis -- 3x06.jpg

[edit]

Image:Stargate Atlantis -- 3x06.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
