Notability ? (Why I had suggested deletion)

[edit]

Hello, I had seen the film had been NOMINATED FOR AN ACADEMY AWARD, but I am still not sure, as it did not receive that award and as this nomination seems to be the only thing that remained, that the page fits those criteria. Anyway, the article is a stub and I leave it as such. --Hérisson de Cloche (click for a ring) 07:07, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Any film nominated for an Academy Award, no matter which category, would pass the WP:GNG. Several of the articles for films nominated in these lesser categories have gone to AfD, only to be kept each time. Here's an example. Lugnuts (talk) 07:18, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. True it is, though, that the existence of such an article (among others) is not absolutely scandalous but I can not see what is to become of them. I don’t mind short articles at all but permanent stubs give a sort of poor image of WP in my idea. Best, --Hérisson de Cloche (click for a ring) 08:16, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
PS-As to the question « why add a dead link? » (see page history), well, I cannot answer. I only added a dead-link tag to the link that was dead, so that anyone who knows a good link to the film, should add it. If you think the dead-link template is a non-sense, well, again, you may be right, but I can not answer anything but suggest you go to the template page to try and have it suppressed. --Hérisson de Cloche (click for a ring) 08:22, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
