This appears plagiarized, but I don't know from where. It is just an advertisement-like explanation of the book, not an encyclopedic article. 70.59.74.72 04:00, 11 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have fixed this by removing existing content, and moving info in from the Darren Shan page. 70.59.74.72 04:39, 12 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Main Characters

[edit]

I have read the books and find no mention of a character called Conte Ramature, shouldn't Chief Inspector Alice Burgess be here? S-m-r-t 20:09, 31 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Vampire's Assistant is the second book,not the first.9/12/06---The Fourth Swordsman 22:06, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheif inspector Alice Burgess plays no significant part in the plot.as to swordsmans post, does that have to do anything with the subtopic?.  ATROCITY1313

Manga?

[edit]

The English word for it is "comic". It is based on a western book. It is being published in Japan, and so what? Even the Japanese use the word "komikusu" (comic). If this was a French adaptation, I don't think people would call it BD or bédé. Loborojo

does this absoloutley have to do with cirque du freak? If you like manga, go read Shonen Jump....  ATROCITY1313

Yea IM confused.... what does that have to do With This book? You want them to make a manga out of it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.156.80 (talk) 18:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That has nothing to do with the book or series... I know a lot of people have drawn manga style drawings on the book. But Darren Shan has never released manga - And I pray he won't --86.131.178.45 (talk) 00:09, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal

Can't see why The Stone of Blood warrants its own article Madmedea 19:16, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I second this opinion. -AtionSong 01:20, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

agree. eeds to be tied with cirque du freak.  ATROCITY1313

Trilogy?

[edit]

Why does it call the series a trilogy? There are more than ten books!

the whole thing is divided into 4 trilogies, making it a complete series. The trilogies just are 3 books of the series that characterize certain events. (take the first trilogy for example, it is about Darren becoming a vampire, and so forth)?  ATROCITY1313  (Contact me)

name?

[edit]

In book 8 when darren start at school a girl in his class got killed by the vampaneeze? What was the name of this girl? Idont remember so please tell me! --Lordbecket 16:39, 8 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Her name was Tara Williams —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.81.211.187 (talk) 11:24, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for answering my question (25 days after I published the question) But, I have another question: Was she killed by Righteous Vampaneze (R.V.)? --Lordbecket 15:43, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Righteous as in how? as said in book 3, Tunnels of blood, The vampaneze arent bad for doing this, they jsut have different beliefs and follow them, so are you asking if she was murdered or if she was drained for blood, for a Vamapneze to feed on? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.220.156.80 (talk) 18:36, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you understood my question "Righteous Vampaneze" is a name! R.V aka Reggie Veggie changed his name after becomming a vampaneeze. --?.  The great Darren shan fan  18:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC) (I am not from an english speaking country) wrongs may occure in this question! If u find some, plese report back to me I want to learn from my wrongs.[reply]

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I would like to give a small correction to your English. In English, you don't make 'wrongs', you make 'mistakes'. --Sauronjim (talk) 17:11, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone familiar with this series care to add it to this list?

[edit]

Types of mythological or fantastic beings in contemporary fiction is a page of, well, fantasy works (movie, TV, written, whatever) and the assorted mythological and/or fantastic critters they contain. This series would probably qualify. Anyone care to add it? Tamtrible (talk) 18:22, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
