"Hong Kong Garden" and its releationship to the first Siouxsie & The Banshees album, The Scream

Whoever created the page for The Scream album has input incorrect information. The page states that the U.K. single "Hong Kong Garden" did not appear on the first album.

IN FACT the Polydor Canada LP DOES contain "Hong Kong Garden". I'm holding it my hands as I type. It is the first song on Side One of the Canadian LP. So once again, there is incorrect information in a music post at Wikipedia.

I'd add in the Canadian LP track listing, but I've had similar information removed after I'd spent some time editing a music page here. Beasley564 (talk) 04:33, 10 October 2011 (UTC)

  • there is no reason to remove my message about obtaining the full date/recording location. the current information given is incomplete and I am informing editors of this.
  • only the record label the album was originally released on is to be specified in the infobox.
  • "studio album" doesn't need to be wikilinked/it isn't wikilinked on featured articles I've seen.
  • the lead section is supposed to summarise the entire article. referring to an Uncut magazine list in the lead section is unbalanced and inappropriate.
  • the critical reception section should be titled "Critical reception" because "Reception" can mean any form of reception, and the type specifically referred to in this section is that of professional critics, hence "Critical reception".
  • Carliertwo claims the NME and Melody Maker reviews are not reviews. this makes no sense to me.
  • you reverted to the previous track listing format when my one uses specific 'lyric' parameters, making it clearly superior
  • for "Love in a Void (Peel Session 1)", "(Peel Session 1)" is part of the title, so it needs to not be excluded if you are wikilinking the track
  • there is absolutely no reason to remove the Discogs external link; it provides proof that the track listings are the way they are, which is needed.

The lead works as it is: an instance of a magazine is often mentionned in a featured article. "Review scores" can only show reviews and those NME and Melody Maker sources are articles, they are not the actual reviews (otherwise, it would have been specified next to the title). We have to stick to the wp:source, if not it's wp:original research. The Discogs external link is not mentionned in a featured article. Carliertwo (talk) 10:25, 1 May 2013 (UTC)
