Isn't the existence of Captain McCallister's two glass eyes inconsistent? Since that episode, he still makes perfect eye contact with people and also says he has one glass eye.- JustPhil 14:20, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Crippling depression[edit]

In the episode where Bart was a spiritual healer, Sea Captain approaches Bart and asks him to help him with his crippling depression. I think there should be some mention of this in the main article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.179.149.114 (talkcontribs)

Voice artist[edit]

According to the Simpsons archives, the voice of the cptain is Harry Shearer, not Hank Azaria. Is this correct? Asknine 14:31, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like that is the case. IMDB Afeitarse 00:30, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Picture?[edit]

Anyone have a good, appropriate picture for the good Captain? It's a shame not to have one. Afeitarse 00:31, 3 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

He's supposed 2 be Irish, right?

Name[edit]

His last name is known, they have said it in the show and the producers have said it in DVD commentaries. However, what canon source is there for his first name? TJ Spyke 06:48, 7 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bisexuality[edit]

When was he said to be bisexual? Should I erase this? PoeticIrony 01:52, 14 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's never been said outright, but it's been implied in several episodes. 12.218.145.112 04:04, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"The Sea Captain"[edit]

So why exactly is this article at 'The Sea Captain'? Aren't people more likely to look at 'Captain McCallister' first?

Fair use rationale for Image:SeaCaptaindeathK.jpg[edit]

Image:SeaCaptaindeathK.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
