Trivia:[edit]

I took out the two points of trivia on this article for individual reasons.

1. The first bit of trivia is irrelevent in the context of an encyclopedic entry.

2. The statement "It is revealed in this episode that Atlantis will apparently be destroyed by the replicators at some point in the future" is making a fact out of something that is meant to be implied and ambiguous. To make a statement like the above would be equivalent to saying "It is revealed in this episode that John blows up a Wraith Ship" if the episode had shown that particular vision but didn't resolve it in the same episode. John didn't blow up the Wraith Ship, but the vision strongly implied it. The "destruction of Atlantis" vision implies that this occurs, but it could just as easily be the replicator homeworld that is being destroyed by a replicator ship that has been taken over by the Atlantis crew, or another City of the Ancients that is discovered later, etc. Darknote (talk) 20:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Would it be strange to suggest that it may be the Travlers who will fire on Atlantis (or maybe on the Raplicators, but unlikely)? Considering they now have an Ancient ship, and they have been called 'a wild card' by one of the writers, I think it's a safe assumption. OHW19271 (talk) 13:07, 22 November 2007 (UTC)OHW19271[reply]

They tricked us[edit]

Am I the only one that saw Christopher Heyerdahl's name in the opening credits, and then didn't see him anywhere in the episode? I guess maybe they'd filmed a scene of the missing Athosians (probably a vision that Davos gave Teyla) and then it got cut from the episode for lack of time. Is that notable at all to mention somewhere? (since we're listing guest stars in the infobox, and technically he was credited as a guest star, he just didn't appear as one) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Maelwys (talkcontribs) 15:34, 20 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Chris started playing wraith characters somewhere around season 2 i think. He plays the wraith that helped John escape from Koyla in "Common Ground". Darknote (talk) 02:19, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Aha! Thanks, I completely missed that, and apparently didn't recognize him under all the makeup. In that case it's a good thing they didn't find the Athosians in this episode, or he would've had to play two opposing characters at once. ;-) --Maelwys (talk) 14:32, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why add notability?[edit]

Why even add a notability tag, why not just delete it? It should be clear now that many users want wikipedia to contain episode guides of series and equally clear that the Overlords do not want that. You can't estabilish "notability" for 99% of tv episodes of a series, so why the pretense? Nuke it. (Of course I think its fine that this place also chronicles episodes, that means the site has more value in the real world) --IceHunter (talk) 15:25, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
