GA?

This article seems pretty good right now. Is it ready to be submitted for GA review? -- Scorpion 18:16, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Yeah its done, but Maitch wanted to add something to it from Leaving Springfield. He said he would do it a while ago but still hasn't. So we might as well nom this for GA now, and he can add his thing in later. Gran2 18:27, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
I'll see if I can get King Bee to take a look. We have 7 GACs now, so it'll take some work to get them all reviewed. I'm also currently working on THOH7, the Sherry Bobbins ep and Brother From Another Series but they are all still some ways away. -- Scorpion 18:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Just nominate the article. It looks fine and is GA worthy. I keep getting sidetracked, so we shouldn't wait for that.
I would btw like a better picture in the infobox. An image of Troy McClure could refer to several episodes and it doesn't work for identification. --Maitch 10:55, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

NoHomers

I was wondering if sourcing NoHomers was within policy. I know it says no referencing forums, but I think this is different, because the statement is that some fans dislike it and it adds a source to a list compiled by fans. They did a Top 100 list a few years back and I was wondering if we should add that to some of the other GAs. -- Scorpion 16:34, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

It would certainly be easier if they put it on the main site as well as the forums. I say we try nom this for GA, and see whether we get told its not allowed. If its acceptable then we can put it in all of the others. Gran2 16:38, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
The Top 100 list is currently listed at SNPP, so perhaps the Bottom 50 list is there too. -- Scorpion 16:42, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Nominating

Right I'm nominating this now, I might change the image tomorrow, I'll see. But for now it'll just join the massive list of The Simpsons GACs. Gran2 21:32, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

GA pass

Very good, and quite out-of-universe for a plot description. Alientraveller 10:29, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks! Gran2 10:37, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

GA Sweeps (Pass)

This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. The article history has been updated to reflect this review. Reception

The Reception subsection is much smaller than the other subsections, though it is quite likely there is more info out there to utilize in other WP:RS/WP:V secondary sources. I will work on expanding this subsection. In addition, I see some copyediting that could be done to the rest of the article. Remind me if I don't get on this in a few days. Cirt (talk) 16:45, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

I have expanded the reception section a bit now. I don't think we can find much more to add, but you are welcome to try. --Maitch (talk) 06:08, 15 July 2008 (UTC)

The Critic

Should The Critic be mentioned as a spin-off? Jay did crossover in the episode A Star Is Burns and it was produced by some of the same people behind The Simpsons. --Maitch (talk) 19:25, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Even though Jean and Reiss created it, it wasn't a spin-off. If it can be considered a spin-off, that means that Lost is a spin-off of Alias, and it's not. Perhaps you could however mention direct crossovers between The Simpsons and other shows (The Critic, The X-Files and later 24). I don't know. Gran2 19:37, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
