Notability concerns[edit]

Are we sure that this band is famous enough to be considered "encyclopedic"? What part of WP:MUSIC are they meeting? --Elonka 19:56, 12 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think with the members of the band that are involved, it more than satisfies criteria #6 in the WP:MUSIC. All members involved are in bands that have done extensive touring nationally and internationally; additionally, the second album is on a more than notable indie label, and the first album sold more than 50,000 units. Cool. I'll do my best to round up some decent references. As one of the characteristics of the band in the beginning was to keep the project pretty secret (at least regarding personnel) it might be difficult finding more "credible" sources per se, but I'll cite what I find. What do you know anyways? Who cares? Do you have something against this group being "encyclopedic"? Listen to the music.. you'll enjoy it.. I think it's great that Wikipedia has put this site together.. And TSOAF are amazing and as well are their respective groups and deserve respect for how they have changed music. Fair use rationale for Image:Soundsss.jpg[edit]

Image:Soundsss.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Disbanded?[edit]

Some serious issues[edit]

I cleaned up this page a bit, but it still needs work. Firstly, you must explain somewhere on the page why each member has an animal associated with them. You may think this is obvious, but for people who know nothing about the band, this is not clear. Secondly, you can't refer to people within the article as "the skunk", etc. Use their names. See here about writing about fictional characters - you shouldn't refer to them in an in-universe style within the article.

If no good explanation is made for the animal names, they will be deleted.

Lastly, Wikipedia's not a crystal ball, so speculation about the next album, and more importantly all the tiny day-to-day minutiae of the band working on the next album does not belong here. Even the justification for having this band on WP is extremely thin, so undue weight should not be paid to their daily goings-on. Conical Johnson (talk) 07:58, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
