Season 2[edit]

The Starz website and many referenced articles here clearly show the episodes from 9 on as season 2. Why isn't this at least mentioned in the article?

Starz social media accounts call it "Part 2" and the poster and the script for episode 9 support that, too. The website categorises it as "Season 2". We are aware of the confusion, but the series remains a two-volume 16-episode limited series. However, the parts were produced separately. We could proceed with an approach similar to Money Heist, but this remains a limited series, not a typical series. The idea of making 16 episodes and 16 episodes only was around from the start in the minds of Frost and Graham. I say we leave it as "Part 2" for now and see how Starz continues to promote it till the finale.--TheVampire (talk) 21:37, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

As I imagined, Starz kept promoting the show's second part on social media as "Part 2", with the finale being called "Series Finale of The Spanish Princess Part 2" on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc. This remains a limited series, and as such it can only be divided into two parts or volumes not seasons. However, as most distributors have distributed the show in two different seasons, I have added a note saying that some sources refer to the two parts of the miniseries as seasons.--TheVampire (talk) 16:22, 30 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
