Stornoway did not win the "New Stakes" at Ascot in 1913, that did Hapsburg. According to www.pedigreequery.com Stornoway won a "Norfolk Stakes" in 1913 (at which track was this race run?). "Norfolk Stakes" is the present day race-name of the formerly named "New Stakes" at Ascot. This may be the reason for this error. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fjrlionheart (talkcontribs) 21:42, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I found the answer myself: The Norfolk Stakes for 2yo-horses is called The Flying Childers Stakes today and is run at Doncaster during the St. Leger-meeting —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fjrlionheart (talkcontribs) 12:20, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
