Adding a "This article does not cite its references or sources" tag to an entry about a book is redundant, isn't it? The book itself is the reference...

I'm sorry, but doesn't this article read like on big advertisement for the book? It's not exactly neutral or encyclopedic...81.86.117.129 16:00, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Burly

[edit]

Although Double Wonderful is the 2nd book written by Swartzwelder, I removed it from the list since it does not feature Frank Burly. 204.115.253.51 17:26, 16 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger Proposal

[edit]

My experience has been that Wikipedia doesn't usually allow articles about self-published books. Kennydale Books is the author's own company that only publishes his own books. The book itself isn't a bestseller or anything that might make it exceptional. Shouldn't this be merged with the article about John Schwartzwelder instead?--2601:8C3:8001:3940:1405:5A0C:CAD:BDD8 (talk) 02:57, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No discussion x 8 months. Removing merge suggestion. – S. Rich (talk) 01:30, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Alas, the sourcing on this article is inadequate. The book does not pass Wikipedia:Notability (books). At present, there are references to a blog called Schlock Value; and LitReactor, an "interactive online community". These are not reliable sources. The other other references are all worthless: Amazon, Goodreads, Librarything, Twitter. I have redirected the article to John Swartzwelder. Any user is welcome to resurrect the article if they can provide reliable sources to indicate notability. cagliost (talk) 20:04, 10 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
