Might as well take a look at this lost film article as well. I found the following issues:

Plot and cast

  • I would perfer that you split the Plot and the Cast into two sections.
  • "The two drink from a horse trough and Dusty is overcome with a toothache." Rewrite to: "The two drink from a horse trough but Dusty is overcome with a toothache because of it."
  • "The two go to the dentist office and are kicked out of the office." Change and to but.
  • "When the rightful owners return they drive the them away." Remove the second the.
  • "before turning the office back over to its owners" Didn't you just say that they were driven away?

Production

  • "The film was the second release of the newly formed Joker line of comedies, following The Cheese Special," Full stop at the end.
  • "it was not heralded with as much fanfare and records surrounding the film show that the film was still advertised in theaters in July 1914." Capitalize the word it.

Reception

  • Link the Moving Picture World.
  • "A more direct review in response to the film's comedic antics came from a letter to the editor of The Motion Picture Story Magazine" Who was the editor of The Motion Picture Story Magazine? Also, link The Motion Picture Story Magazine.
  • "Locations included Chicago, Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Oregon, North Carolina, Wisconsin, and Kansas." Link all of them please.
  • " 'The Tramp Dentists is presumed lost" What's with the ' at the start?

References

  • Link the publishers of these sources.

Images

  • You stated that you found some "unidentified" stills on my talk page. Have any of them been comfirmed to be from this move?

Placing it on hold for now. good888 (talk) 16:10, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Good888: Fixes done. No, I haven't found anything and I would have to publish something for it to be okay given rules on Original Research. I have quite a large catalog and great access to sources, but I typically get my stills from the magazines for these shots. Drama films tended to be played up more than these and I cannot even find even decent information for Throwing the Bull which was the third film. Same with the Mike and Jake series, which may get a single page, but this is probably the last Joker comedy article unless I can get more info from the studio records. @ChrisGualtieri: Ah, OK. Since you have addressed the other issues, I am going to promote to GA class. Fingers-crossed you will find a still of this film. good888 (talk) 17:26, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
