Publication dates: Are these released monthly? Perhaps the publication dates could be included? Vlouie01 16:27, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The first 5 were released monthly from September 2006 through to January 2007. Since then its been a bit more variable. Ive added the release dates to the page now.SMegatron 14:05, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

page length

[edit]

As more and more Spotlights are released, this page will continue to grow in length. An idea would be to split these up according to volumes of 5 each, as IDW releases them that way as TPBs. The main Spotlight page could be a general overview of the series, or maybe just be a redirect to The Transformers: Spotlight, vol 1 (or however IDW lists it). Thoughts? --MistaTee 20:06, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I had that thought myself, but was going to wait until Ramjet was out, as that seems to be the end of the second block of Spotlights. Also, if memory serves, IDW's solicits simply listed the TPB as The Transformers: Spotlight rather than Volume 1, etc. But the volume thing sounds good, as each block could be regarded as a series in its own right a la Infiltration, etc.SMegatron 13:39, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You're right about the TPB. Let's see how they list the second volume and we can split the page at that time.--MistaTee 17:08, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I could suggest modelling it after any of the Smallville season articles, to make plot summaries as succinct as possible. Alientraveller 20:57, 16 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alientraveller has suggested a possible page outline as follows in User:Alientraveller/Sandbox 2, so what does everyone think? On a side note, I remeber it being said on the IDW site that the second Spotlight TPB is out in February next year, so thats a bit of a wait if we want to split it up.
