Poetic wording?[edit]

The 4th paragraph of the plot summary says "Alejandra joins her body with that of the creature", is that a euphemism for sex, or is the alien actually fusing with her in some way? Either way, I think it should be made more explicit. Given the simultaneously sexual and fantastical nature of the subject matter, neither interpretation is obviously wrong.

@HumbleSolipsist1, I saw this long ago and still have vague memories. From what I rememebr, having sex with this octopus-like alien does resemble "joining her body", but it is euphemism after all.
